OptixIRC is a stable IRC network ran by a group of staff members to ensure that each user enjoys a safe road down IRC Lane. OptixIRC would be nothing without its users and staff members.

OptixIRC believes in free speech, and we like our users to express themselves, as long as they abide by the network rules.

Role Changes & Staff Updates July 3, 2010

The Network Administration has decided to remove the Support Operator rank due to its being useless. The Support Operator rank will now be used as the first process when a user is in the path to becoming an IRC Operator.

With the removal of the Support Operator rank, the Network Administration has decided to promote our old Support Operators -- darkex and rwg -- to IRC Operator.

The OptixIRC Administration has also decided to add PeanutHorst to the Support Administration. With the removal of the Support Operators, the Support Administrators will be in full control of how #Help is ran. The Support Administration will also receive the duty of ensuring all users on the network enjoy their stay.

Network Web Site June 25, 2010

After aggravating discussions and conflicts, we have finally enabled our web site. The website has been in production for quite some time now and we are happy to finally release it!

In the next few days you will be able to use the log-in panel to the left to access certain features of the web site that include NickServ modification of your nickname.
